FreakUI legal
Refund Policy
This policy explains when a FreakUI subscription purchase may be refunded, how to submit a request, and what happens to generation access after approval.
Effective August 27, 2026
1. Who handles your purchase
Paddle.com, our online reseller, conducts the order process as Merchant of Record and handles payment-related customer service, returns, and refunds. This policy applies to paid FreakUI subscription transactions completed through Paddle.
Your purchase is also governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms and the Paddle Refund Policy. If this page conflicts with mandatory consumer law or Paddle’s terms as seller, the applicable law and Paddle terms control.
2. Refund eligibility
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, FreakUI subscription transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Paddle may approve a full or partial refund when you exercise a statutory right, when a qualifying technical or product defect cannot be resolved, or at its discretion under the Paddle Refund Policy.
Paddle may consider a discretionary request submitted within 14 days of the transaction, but submitting within that period does not guarantee approval. Country-specific withdrawal and refund rights may provide different or additional protection. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
3. Technical problems
If a persistent FreakUI defect prevents you from receiving the paid generation capability as described, contact hello@thefreakcompany.com first so we can investigate and attempt to resolve it. Do not send credentials, access tokens, repositories, source code, complete prompts, or font files.
If the issue cannot be resolved, you may submit the support history and transaction details to Paddle for review under its refund policy.
4. How to request a refund
You can submit a refund request by using one of these routes:
- Visit paddle.net and choose the refund option.
- Use the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle transaction email.
- Open the Paddle customer portal from your FreakUI account billing page.
Paddle verifies the transaction and decides eligibility. If approved, Paddle generally returns funds to the original payment method where possible and processes the refund within the period stated in its current refund policy.
5. Effect on FreakUI access
Any approved full or partial refund, and any approved chargeback, revokes future FreakUI generation access for the affected subscription. Projects generated before access ended remain on your device and may continue to be used subject to their applicable licenses.
A pending refund request does not itself guarantee a refund. Access is updated when Paddle reports the authoritative transaction or dispute state to FreakUI.
6. Cancellation is different from a refund
Canceling prevents the next subscription renewal but normally keeps generation access active until the end of the current paid billing period. It does not automatically refund the current period. You can cancel through the Paddle customer portal from your FreakUI account or through paddle.net.
7. Contact
For product or access problems, contact hello@thefreakcompany.com. For payment, cancellation, or refund handling, contact Paddle at paddle.net.
